4th of July, 2016 Weekend Events for Lake Gaston

As most of you know by now, the Independence Day fireworks show over Pea Hill Creek will not be happening this year. The long running annual waterfront show has become on of the largest firework displays in the area, including Air Force flyovers, skydivers, and tributes to veterans. The American Veterans Tribute organization which puts on the show cited lack of funding as the reason for the cancellation. Not to fear though! They assure that the beloved celebration will return in 2017.

Until then, there are plenty of other things happening around the lake this weekend.
